George and Eleanor Milnes, Dan’s grandparents, moved from metro Detroit to Spring Arbor in the 1970’s. Dan’s parents, Gordon and Charlotte Milnes, attended Spring Arbor University, the same school Dan attended and the place where Dan met his wife, Janelle. The Milnes continue to raise their family in Spring Arbor. Gordon and Dan Milnes started Stoneridge Builders in 2004 following a missions trip to build a local church in Zimbabwe. Their experience in Zimbabwe brought Gordon and Dan together in a unique and dynamic way.
